Derek built this Classic Airframes kit out of the box except for one very big alteration. He discovered that the aircraft had wooden wings and so sanded down all of the rib detail outboard of the center section with the exception of the ailerons. The kit is a 'multi-media kit made mainly of injected moulded plastic but also contains an acetate windscreen and resin cockpit. The book 'Jagdwaffe', Volume One, Section 1 by Eric Mombeek contains a number of photographs and profiles of these pre-war birds.
