F6F-3 Hellcat  1/72

 This Hasegawa F6F-3 number 13 of VF-16 flying from the USS Lexington in December of 1943.  This is the three tone scheme of non-specular blue on the upper surfaces, non-specular intermediate blue on the sides and vertical tail and flat white on the undersides.  A white bar was added to each side of the national insignia, and for a short time in 1943 the entire insignia had a red surround.
